Master Instructor
Acheiving the Master Instructor rating means you’ve have obtained one of the highest instructor achievements and be identified as an individual who is experienced in providing an entire range of programs to students.

To earn the Master Instructor certification, you need to:

1. Have been an instructor member of for at least two years.
2. Have successfully completed a sanctioned program in CPR within the past 36 months. Be renewed as a EMERGENCY FIRST RESPONSE INSTRUCTOR
3. Be a renewed Master Scuba Diver Trainer.
4. Be a renewed IDC Staff Instructor, and have attended three Instructor Development Seminars.
5. Have certified at least 150 students to the Open Water Diver level and higher, including Specialty Diver, Advanced Open Water or Advanced Plus, MEDIC FIRST AID®, Rescue Diver, Divemaster and Assistant Instructor certifications.
6. Use the complete System of diver education, generally support in diver education, issue primarily certifications and conduct all levels of diver training consistent with philosophy.
